About Petras Maygar
I have practiced witchcraft for over thirty years and have followed the Wiccan path for more than a decade. I am a graduate of Woolston‑Steen Theological Seminary (Class of 2024) and was ordained as legal clergy within the WISE Tradition in 2025.
My work as a Wiccan priest is rooted in service—service to the Goddess, to the sacred mysteries, and to the community. In Wicca, the Divine is not separate from the world, but alive within it—present in the cycles of nature, the turning of the seasons, and the lived experiences of those who seek spiritual connection. To serve as clergy is to create spaces where that sacred presence can be encountered in meaningful and transformative ways.
I believe that ritual, teaching, and spiritual guidance should always be offered with humility, integrity, and compassion. Each person who seeks a rite, a reading, or a moment of spiritual reflection brings their own story and spiritual path. My role is not to direct that path, but to help illuminate it—by offering tools, tradition, and sacred space that support a deeper relationship with the Divine.
Service to the Goddess also means service to the community. Wicca teaches reverence for life, respect for personal sovereignty, and responsibility toward one another. Through rites of passage, weddings and handfastings, memorial ceremonies, classes, and spiritual counseling, I strive to support individuals and families during both the joyful and challenging moments of life.
Whether celebrating a union, honoring the memory of a loved one, beginning a spiritual journey, or seeking guidance through divination, my goal remains the same: to offer authentic ritual, grounded teaching, and compassionate presence in the spirit of the Goddess.
